Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Construction Manager I, we'll count on you to:Maintain accurate daily record of construction site activity and produce required reports on progress, safety, quality, permit compliance, schedule and budget status.Be familiar with and enforce contract requirementReview construction submittals including shop drawings and pay applicationsPrepare, issue and negotiate Change OrdersReview and analyze baseline and updated construction schedulesCoordinate with other project team members including the Owner, Engineer, and ContractorWork individually or supporting more-senior staff on larger, more complex projectsPreferred QualificationsConstruction or design certificationsExperience with estimating software (Timberline ), scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak ), and project management software (Prolog)Experience overseeing or managing mass earthwork projects and related quality control or assurance activities.Dam construction experienceAbility to interpret construction schedulesPreference given to local candidatesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 2 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including field engineering, construction submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety Experience with Microsoft OfficeExperience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Sponsorship (visa) for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.What We BelieveHDR is our company.
