This position maintains liaison relationships with other administrators, departments, and outside organizations, and monitors services and activities. The Program Coordinator works with a diverse population of faculty, staff, administrators, and community members. This position is expected to perform basic research, preliminary analysis, coordination, budget management, and transactional support related to activities hosted by the MCLI.\n\nEssential Functions\n\n35%: Provides basic coordination and oversight of an assigned programs; responds to inquiries and solves problems in accordance with policies and procedures\n\n20%: Prepares, processes, and/or reconciles transactions, forms, paperwork, and/or system data\n\n15%: Organizes, updates, and maintains program records, files, manuals, and/or documentation\n\n10%: Serves as a program liaison providing process and procedural coordination and support\n\n10%: Monitors and ensures compliance with policies and procedures\n\n10% Performs other duties as assigned\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and one (1) year of experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports.\n\nOR\n\nAn equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nThree years of experience supporting College/District programs\nExperience serving as a communication liaison for supervisor with internal and external stakeholders\nDemonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment and establishing cooperative relationships\nDemonstrated experience facilitating vendor relations\nExperience working with online project management systems\nExperience working in planning of complex activities\nExperience working with digital tools (including video conferencing)\nOne year of full-time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two years\nHow to Apply\n\nApplicants are required to submit a cover letter and resume showing how the applicant meets the minimum and desired qualifications.
