This is not a contracted (1099) role.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and support multi-tenant production, staging, and development environments\nManage Linux-based infrastructure supporting Tomcat application servers and DB2 databases\nMaintain and optimize VMware virtual infrastructure within the corporate data center\nSupport Azure integrations, IaaS scripting (IAC), and hybrid-cloud connectivity\nSupport and maintain CI/CD pipeline infrastructure and automation tooling\nPartner with development teams to improve build reliability, deployment automation, and operational efficiency\nMonitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security across all environments\nManage backup strategies, disaster recovery procedures, and restore testing\nTroubleshoot infrastructure, application, database, and networking issues across environments\nImplement and maintain infrastructure automation and operational scripting\nMaintain system configurations, middleware services, and environment consistency\nCollaborate with software engineering, database administration, security, and infrastructure teams\nDevelop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and system diagrams\nParticipate in after-hours support and incident response as needed\nEnsure environments meet security, compliance, and operational standards\nAssist with capacity planning, system scaling, and high-availability initiatives\nSupport load balancing, SSL certificate management, DNS, and related infrastructure services\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience\n5+ years of DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering experience\n5+ years of advanced experience administering in Linux server environments\n5+ years of experience managing Apache Tomcat environments in production\n5+ years of experience supporting DB2 database environments\nExperience administering VMware and Hyper-V infrastructure in enterprise data centers\nExperience supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions\nFamiliarity with Azure services and hybrid-cloud integrations\nExperience supporting CI/CD tooling and automation frameworks\nExperience with scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and SSL/TLS\nExperience with monitoring and logging platforms\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills\nExperience supporting high-availability production systems\nRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting multi-tenant SaaS or enterprise web application environments\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar\nFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools\nExperience with containerization technologies\nExperience with security hardening and vulnerability remediation\nKnowledge of performance tuning for Linux, Tomcat, and DB2\nVMware or Azure certifications\nSoft Skills\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nStrong documentation and organizational skills\nSelf-motivated with strong ownership mentality\nContinuous improvement mindset\nWork Schedule - Full time.
