Mobilize off-site technical resources if additional expertise is required.\nCollaborate with the customer and Nightwing technical teams to integrate software solutions with legacy systems and third-party platforms while meeting stringent security requirements.\nSupport database operations and optimization for systems leveraging MongoDB and MariaDB, ensuring efficient data flow and scalability.\nDevelop and maintain software enhancements, including new functionality, bug fixes, and performance improvements, for Rocky Linux-based platforms.\nPerform testing, deployment, and monitoring tasks across virtualization platforms like Microsoft Hypervisor and cloud solutions from AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.\nManage message queue services like RabbitMQ for efficient communication across distributed systems.\nDocument technical issues, resolutions, and ongoing system health updates to ensure effective communication with the customer and Nightwing stakeholders.\nMinimum Requirements:\nActive TS/SCI clearance with Poly .\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field OR equivalent work experience.\n5+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on development, integration, and operational troubleshooting support.\nProficiency in developing Java web applications and integrating systems within microservices architectures.\nExperience with databases like MongoDB and MariaDB, including configuration and query optimization.\nFamiliarity with RabbitMQ for message queueing in distributed systems.\nUnderstanding of Linux-based environments, particularly Rocky Linux, with the ability to perform troubleshooting and maintenance.\nExperience with cloud services from providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deployment and monitoring of cloud applications.\nKnowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., Microsoft Hypervisor) for system management and enhancement.\nFamiliarity using Python for automation, scripting, and integration tasks.\nStrong communication skills to interact effectively with customers, cross-functional teams, and remote development resources.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior experience directly supporting intelligence community or defense customers.\nExpertise in secure coding practices and cybersecurity within mission-critical environments.\nFamiliarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) to streamline software deployment lifecycles.\nCertification in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate, or Google Cloud Certified).\nAdvanced troubleshooting techniques for deployed virtualized or containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nSalary & Benefits\n\nThe salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
