We service all of New England with regional representatives to provide unmatched customer service and support.\n\nSummary: The Application Engineer is responsible for inside sales support for customers and salesmen, order entry, order acknowledgements, project submittals, deliveries, pump quotes and technical support.\n\nFunctions and Responsibilities:\n\nManage complex, discrete and/or sensitive projects to ensure smooth delivery to the internal or external customer\nWrite quotes to customers\nComplete project assignments, as directed, within allotted time frames\nReceive customer phone and email inquires\nProvide general support to outside sales team\nCommunicate with the Accounting team to resolve issues regarding invoicing, deliveries, and shipping\nAny other relevant job duties that may be assigned\nEducation and Experience:\n\nMinimum Associates or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and or prior experience in the pump industry.\nKnowledge of rotating equipment (pumps and air compressors) is a plus\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\n\nSolid computer skills including proficiency with CAD, spreadsheet and database applications\nMust possess the ability to think and solve problems with creative understanding.
