Electrical Technician II

The Opportunity InCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician II to support the service needs of its customers. The Electrician will work at the Dallas InCharge Office, reporting to the Service Manager. Key aspects of the work include running conduit, wiring and installation, diagnosing and repairing trouble with charging infrastructure in addition to handling regularly scheduled maintenance. The role requires significant regional travel with a focus on ensuring a timely and customer-centered turnkey delivery experience. Key objectives include maintaining safety standards and timely completion of high-quality field installation work, and field support.What You’ll DoUnderstanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations.Panel Work: Installing breakers, labeling circuits, and understanding load balancing 120v/277/480Performing accurate calculations for circuits, panels, and service loads Identifying and resolving electrical faults efficiently short circuits for lighting and power distribution.Some EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit installation experience Installation of emergency drivers, contactors, time clocks and troubleshoot EMS systems.Familiarity with smart panels, EV chargers, and renewable energy systemRepresent the company at client locations with the highest standards of professional conductCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation in Procore and Field LightningAttend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiencyPerform other related duties as assignedYour Experience and Capabilities5+ years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settingsOSHA 30 Card required or ability to obtain in 120 days of hire.Associate’s degree or higher in an applicable technical field is desirableASE or other applicable certifications are desirableCommercial Driver’s license or ability to obtain is highly desirableECAP certification (internal requirement) or ability to obtain within 120 days of hireEVITP Certification or ability to obtain within 120 days of hireAdaptable to the changing dynamics of start-up business strategyExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsDetail-oriented, resourceful, diligent, and able to operate independently with limited supervision (completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner)Proficiency with Procore, or equivalent software a plusAbility to Travel 25-50%US Hourly Range: $34 USD - $38 USDWhat We OfferFull-time employees enjoy competitive compensation and benefits package including 401(k) matching contribution, health, dental, and vision, cell phone reimbursement (for most positions), generous vacation and paid sick leave, office meals and snacks, team building events and activities throughout the year.Equal Opportunity EmployerEmployment at InCharge Energy is based solely upon individual merit and qualifications directly related to professional competence.
