Pre-school/IECE (Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education) RSES

SUPERVISOR: Principal/Director of Pre-schoolQUALIFICATION:Must hold a valid Kentucky Teaching Certification in the area stated aboveHave the ability to develop and implement the IEP for individual studentsAbility to implement ALLSTARS Standards for Pre-schoolAdminister required assessmentsHave knowledge of Kentucky Preschool Standards and RegulationsMust have knowledge of curriculum and best teaching strategies for improving student learning as defined by KY Teaching StandardsMust be available to participate in PD training sessions to increase Kindergarten Readiness SkillsMust have knowledge/implementation of ARC meetings and Transition Process for students exiting First StepsMust have strong classroom management skills and the ability to communicate and establish routines appropriate for preschool studentsHave the ability to develop a positive, professional relationship with students, teachers, administrators, and parentsWillingness to participate in extra-curricular activities related to RSESMust successfully complete all required employment forms/applicationsPerform other duties as requested by supervisors and required by regulationsRender health services as necessary after appropriate training
