What You'll Do: As a Field Technician, you’ll be the tech expert on the ground, responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cutting-edge wired and wireless equipment. No two days are the same in this exciting, fast-paced role where you'll have the chance to show off your skills and make a real impact! Key Responsibilities: Install Like a Pro: Set up wireless microwave systems on client rooftops and towers (it’s not for the faint-hearted!). Install Access Points, Phones, Cameras, Routers, Switches, and more. Run and terminate shielded CAT5/CAT6 and RJ11 cables with precision. Tackle installations like a boss—whether it’s EMT, PVC, direct burial, or aerial work. Troubleshoot & Maintain: Be the hero who saves the day with your expertise in routine maintenance and problem-solving for all our isp.net services. Perform minor IT repairs with remote backup from our all-star Engineering team. Stay Safe & Compliant: Safety first—always! We follow strict protocols to keep you, your team, and our customers secure. Jump in on internal and external projects that keep things interesting! What You Bring: Skills & Experience: Tech Savvy: Proficient with cable testing tools from Fluke or Ideal, and comfortable configuring local IP addresses in Windows. Experience: Prior work with WISP, satellite installation, or similar? That's a major plus! Physical Ability: Can handle up to 50 lbs. and not afraid of heights—our work can take you 400 feet up! Attention to Detail: You've got the sharp vision to work with fine details and cables. Bonus Points: Spanish Speakers are always a great asset to our team! Credentials: A valid driver’s license with a clean record (you’ll have your own company truck!). Must be 21 or older and able to pass background checks.
