Adjunct faculty have the responsibility for providing instruction in the ASN program.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for creating a positive learning environment that prepares students forthe complexities of today's workplacePromote intellectual and personal development through personally focused learningopportunities, preparing students to succeed, lead and servePerform duties including, but not limited to, the instruction and education of studentsSupport student recruitment and retention effortsWork collegially with administrators and fellow Educators.Contribute to the development, review, and revision of program policiesQualifications:Required:Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years practice experiencePossess an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse licensePossess a Master's degree or higher in nursing (MSN)Demonstrated experience in nursing educationOther:Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, including Word, Excel, Power Point, andOutlook; proficiency in Moodle is preferredTo perform this job successfully, a candidate will have excellent written and oralcommunication skills. The candidate will be able to adapt to new technology and havegood time management, organization, and project management skills.
