They operate at the cutting edge of embodied AI, applying expertise across the full robotics stack to solve some of society's most important challenges.Job SummaryAs Senior Technical Product Manager for Sensing, you will drive product vision, ensure seamless execution across the hardware/software divide, and translate market demands into user-oriented, executable product roadmaps.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and maintain the sensing and compute roadmap, covering scope, sequencing, and feature prioritiesCollaborate with development teams to refine architectures for perception, localization, sensor processing, and AI/ML workloads, balancing performance with product constraintsLead product requirements for safe perception and redundancyDefine infrastructure requirements for data collection and evaluationDefine and prioritise use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and customer needsEnsure product development efforts align with real-world economic value for customersSynthesise insights from user research, customer meetings, usage data, and sales feedback into a strategy that delivers business objectives and customer benefitsDefine product features and enhancements, communicating requirements to engineering teams via clearly written requirements documents, diagrams, and concise verbal communicationSupport product marketing initiatives, partner relationships, and other opportunities to accelerate product adoptionSkills and RequirementsDemonstrated experience managing hardware/software products in edge compute, sensor fusion, or perception pipelinesStrong understanding of compute architectures such as GPUs, functional safety islands, and safety MCUs and their deployment in robotic or autonomous systemsSubject matter expertise in defining data pipelines and infrastructure for machine learning and autonomy stacksStrong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking, system error budgets, and data-driven decision-makingExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into business impactComfortable making decisions under uncertainty, prioritising velocity over perfectionStrong user advocacy, with a track record of bringing the customer voice into internal product decisions
