The ideal candidate has strong experience with progressive, line, and/or transfer dies and takes pride in producing accurate, reliable, and production-ready tools that meet customer specifications.\nWhat You’ll Do\n· Build, assemble, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot tools and dies used in a production environment.\n· Read and interpret blueprints, CAD designs, part data, machine prints, models, sketches, and related technical documentation.\n· Analyze metal-stamped parts and progressive die strips to determine tooling adjustments, repairs, or improvements needed to meet specifications.\n· Compute dimensions, plan layouts, and determine assembly methods and sequence of operations from engineered designs.\n· Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders to machine details and verify conformance to specifications.\n· Verify dimensions, alignments, clearances, and tolerances using proper inspection and measuring practices.\n· Test completed tools and dies to ensure proper fit, function, quality, and customer specification compliance.\n· Recommend design or process improvements related to tool construction, fit, function, reliability, and manufacturability.\n· Work collaboratively with team members to solve tooling issues, reduce downtime, and support production goals.\n· Maintain a focus on quality, accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n· Two (2) years of related tool and die experience and/or equivalent training combination required.\n· High school diploma or GED required.\n· Completion of a college, technical school, or apprenticeship certificate program preferred.\n· Experience working with progressive, line, and/or transfer dies preferred.\n· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, part data, machine prints, and technical specifications.\n· Experience operating manual machine tools such as lathes, mills, shapers, and grinders.\n· Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and troubleshooting ability.\n· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPhysical Requirements\nThis position requires standing, walking, and the ability to perform medium to heavy lifting.
