{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a00b33beb94573ccd2c5005a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a00b33beb94573ccd2c5005a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a00b33beb94573ccd2c5005a","title":"Project Manager","description":"JOB SUMMARY:\n\nThe purpose of the Project Manager position is to plan and coordinate projects to meet the overall goals of the project and serve as the main contact with the contractor or owner.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:\n\nReview shop drawings, contract drawings, specifications, and applicable standards to determine appropriate installation methods.\nGenerate proposals for change orders, and as assigned.\nDetermine labor requirements and preparing schedules, track changes.\nOrder and track material, equipment, tools, and other necessary items based on design and/or contract needs.\nReview time for assigned projects and/or contracts to ensure alignment with project budget.\nMonitor overall progress of the project and preparing job records\nGenerate proposals for change orders, RFI’s, ASI’s and MCR’s; communicate approved items into organizational system(s) and/or to designated representative for processing.\nEnsure employees follow all relevant safety standards and procedures, work environment in accordance with the SFP standards.\nMeet with AHJ’s, contractors, owners, architects, and other design professionals on project progress.\nPerform a formal project review with the Fire Alarm Manager weekly, or as requested.\nAssist support staff and facilitate closeout documents to include O&Ms and review as-built drawings for accuracy.\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n\nThe qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.\n\nEducation, Training, Certifications:\n\nHigh School diploma, technical or related experience and/or training, required.\nNICET III ITM Water based systems and/or NICET Level IV Fire Alarm, preferred.\n\nExperience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:\n\n5 years’ industry experience, required.\nSuccessful experience in leading multiple projects, achieving goaled outcomes including profitability while communicating with onsite customers, preferred.\nMechanical aptitude, preferred.\nBasic and advanced math skills, required.\n\nCommunication Skills:\n\nMust have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.\n\nSystems and Software Skills:\n\nAbility to operate a computer, use Microsoft Office required.\n\nOther Qualifications:\n\nValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.\nMust be able to comply with SFS’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.\n\nPHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform Essential Job Duties.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods.
