Join us.\n\nJob Description\n\nAECOM is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a major project in the Chicago, IL area including Indiana.\n\nOversee program related activities for smaller programs or a defined part of a larger program, in support of the overall Program Manager.\nProvide technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery at the program level or for elements of a program.\nAdvocate for ethical and safe working practices.\nSupports innovation in program management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation.\nIdentify areas of high risk and pro-actively takes actions to positively impact program outcomes.\nContribute to the global learning and people development strategy for program management, including identification of talent gaps and resourcing plans.\nAssess long-term and disruptive trends in their area of expertise.\nProposes skill development approaches and workforce planning to deliver capabilities for the future.\nActively supports the attraction and retention of talent across area of expertise.\nAccountable for overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreement.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nBA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n10 or more-years of experience working in project management, program management and/or construction management\nExperience working with large, advanced manufacturing, technology and/or corporate sector clients\nAbility to travel to project sites in Northeast Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and Southwest Michigan\nStrong communication and team leadership skills\n\nAdditional Information\n\nSponsorship is not available for this role\n\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
