The superintendent will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and in accordance with company standards.\nKey Responsibilities: Project Oversight Manage day-to-day field operations and supervise all construction activities.\nEnsure projects are completed according to approved designs, specifications, and schedules.\nCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure smooth workflow.\nQuality Control Monitor work progress to ensure high-quality standards and compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.\nPerform regular inspections and document any deviations or deficiencies.\nEnforce quality control standards for all phases of construction.\nScheduling & Planning Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.\nAnticipate potential delays and adjust schedules as necessary.\nCoordinate material deliveries and on-site labor to keep projects on track.\nSite Safety Management Implement and maintain site-specific safety plans.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations.\nConduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and ensure all workers adhere to safety protocols.\nCommunication Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and inspectors at the project site.\nProvide regular updates to Project Manager regarding job progress, issues, and or changes.\nPrepare daily/weekly progress reports to track the project’s performance against the timeline and budget.\nProblem Solving Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, including delays, technical challenges, and workforce concerns.\nProactively address any concerns from clients, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.\nBudget Management Monitor project expenses and ensure they remain within the agreed-upon budget.\nApprove subcontractor and vendor invoices and track costs against the project budget.\nCollaborate with Project Manager to make any necessary adjustments to the budget or scope.\nSubcontractor Management Oversee subcontractor performance to ensure they meet contract requirements and project timelines.\nConduct regular meetings with subcontractors to ensure alignment with the project plan.\nReview and approve subcontractor work, addressing any deficiencies or non-compliance.\nDocumentation & Reporting Maintain accurate daily logs, schedules, and project documentation.\nRecord change orders, field reports, and inspection reports.\nDocument any incidents or accidents and ensure proper reporting is done.\nTravel & Site Setup Travel to various project locations across multiple states, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.\nSet up and maintain temporary on-site offices as needed for project management and coordination.\nQualifications: Experience Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a construction superintendent, preferably with projects in roofing, siding, and exterior systems.\nExperience working on large projects with a typical value of $800K+ is preferred.\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nA degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus.\nCertifications OSHA 30 certification required.\nPMP (Project Management Professional) or LEED certification is an advantage.\nSkills Strong leadership and organizational skills.\nExcellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.\nAbility to read and interpret
