You'll partner closely with Accounting, Treasury, Asset Management, and the Data & Technology teams, transforming data to be available for wider company use. We're looking for someone who combines strong accounting fundamentals with the judgment to work independently on time-sensitive, compliance-driven work.\n\nWhat you will be doing at Generate Capital as a Sr. Analyst, Debt Operations:\n\nOwn day-to-day administration of Generate's debt portfolios, including invoice collection, transaction processing in Allvue, and cash reconciliation across the book\n\nEscalate product issues (bugs) to Allvue when output is not recalculating or displaying as expected and request enhanced canned reports when suitable for other reporting needs\n\nPartner with Accounting and Treasury to ensure debt data feeding the general ledger is accurate, timely, and audit-ready\n\nAct as an in-house partner for Asset Management on credit agreement review and ensuring the deal follows stated terms after origination\n\nFulfill audit and investor requests by maintaining the Debt Dashboard in PowerBI fed by Allvue data\n\nSupport finance transformation initiatives touching the debt book, including accounting automation and financial system migrations (OneStream, Business Central, Kyriba)\n\nCandidate qualifications & core characteristics:\n\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field\n\nCPA or progress toward a professional certification\n\n2–5 years of relevant experience in public accounting, debt/loan administration, or operations at an investment manager\n\nStrong understanding and application of accounting rules and credit/loan administration practices\n\nExperience with a loan administration or portfolio accounting system (Allvue, Advent Geneva, or similar)\n\nFamiliarity with accounting ERPs and Treasury Management systems\n\nAdvanced Excel skills; willingness to transition processes in AI tools\n\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail\n\nDeadline-oriented, with the ability to meet time-sensitive regulatory and contractual requirements\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nStrong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work\n\nIntellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a pragmatic approach to solving problems\n\nAbility to take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment\n\nDemonstrated interest in sustainable infrastructure\n\nGenerate’s compensation packages are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Salary decisions take into account a wide variety of factors including, but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $125,000. In addition, the compensation package may include a discretionary bonus and other benefits, including health care benefits, retirement benefits, benefits permitting paid days off (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid time off or vacation benefits), and other benefits that must be reported for federal tax purposes.
