This role ensures material availability to support production, new product launches and customer fulfillment while balancing inventory, cost, and supply risk in a high-growth environment.\r\nIn joining our HW group within the broader R&D organization, you will be part of a highly capable, motivated, small team where your contributions and ideas truly matter.\r\nWhat You'll Accomplish\r\nOwn materials planning for all hardware products including kits, accessories, and consumables\r\nDevelop and manage supply plans to meet demand forecasts while maintaining optimal safety stock levels\r\nPartner closely with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and capacity readiness\r\nManage inventory health across internal and external locations, including excess and obsolescence mitigation\r\nSupport new product introductions (NPI), engineering changes (ECO/ECN), and product transitions\r\nLead crossfunctional projects involving product changes managing it through the various stages of supply chain from suppliers, factories, 3PLs and in-market while collaborating with internal stakeholders\r\nMonitor and resolve supply constraints, shortages, and demand volatility\r\nDrive continuous improvement in planning processes, systems, and reporting\r\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Product, Operations, Finance, and Quality teams\r\nHinge Health Hybrid Model\r\nWe believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\n5+ years of experience in materials planning and program management within hardware or consumer electronics\r\nExperience managing external contract manufacturers and global suppliers\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\r\nComfortable operating in fast-changing, ambiguous environments\r\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems like NetSuite preferred\r\nStrong experience in materials planning within hardware or consumer electronics\r\nProven ability to manage through high demand churn and frequent change\r\nClear communicator who works well across technical and non-technical teams\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nAdvanced Excel/data analytics skills (inventory modeling, safety stock calculations)\r\nExperience in consumer electronics, medical devices, or connected hardware supply chains\r\nExperience supporting Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and global supplier networks\r\nFamiliarity with healthcare-regulated environments\r\nProven track record managing materials through rapid demand growth and volatility\r\nExperience supporting New Product Introductions (NPI) and engineering change orders (ECO/ECN)\r\nStrong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)\r\nCompensation\r\nThis position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
