This includes\n\nNetwork services (Layer 2 networking, switching, traffic management/classification, SLA enforcement, security) for point-to-multipoint wireless access systems.\nNetwork and Device management - interfacing with hardware (ASIC/FPGA and other devices), switch management, configuration, telemetry, alarms, diagnostics, WebUI.\nScalable network/cloud management and provisioning frameworks.\n\nWhat You'll Need:\n\nBS in Computer Science/Engineering with at least 12 years of relevant software development experience.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to drive issues to closure.\nExperience in telecom/embedded software development for carrier and/or enterprise products is a big plus\nPacket forwarding, routing, bridging, switching, VLANs, ethernet services, ethernet OA&M\nAdvanced knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP), protocols, Internet architecture\nDeep understanding of UNIX-style operating systems (IPC, multi-threading)\nExperience in socket, network, and systems programming in C/C++\nNetwork/cloud management systems and configuration/provisioning/administration systems (SNMP, Yang Models, NetConf, LDAP, HTTP, OpenFlow, TR-69)\nAuthentication, security, encapsulation and tunneling technologies (IPSec, CAPWAP, 802.1x)\nExperience of using AI-agents in the s/w lifecycle (requirements to debugging field issues)\nExperience with version control systems, collaboration tools (wikis, ticket systems)\n\nWhat we offer:\n\nWe don’t just build next-gen wireless technology — we build people.\n\nThe salary range for this position is: $175,000 to $250,000\n\nCompensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to: skill set, years of experience and the employee’s geographic location.\n\nTarana provides competitive benefits to employees in this role including: Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, flexible time off and stock option.\n\nJoin Tarana and help shape the future of wireless connectivity.\n\nAbout Us\n\nTarana’s mission is to accelerate the deployment of fast, affordable, and reliable internet access around the world.
