{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9fd23bb333da0c858779a749","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9fd23bb333da0c858779a749","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9fd23bb333da0c858779a749","title":"SWD Operator","description":"Job Title: SWD Operator\nSchedule: 7/7\nLocation: Midland, TX\nPay: DOE\nDanos Expectations: A successful candidate will exhibit characteristics that support the following:\nSafety Awareness\nWork Ethic\nTechnical Skill\nCustomer Focus\nOpen Communication\nImplementing Vision and Values\nOur purpose, values, and high-performance culture traits are fundamental to our success and offer wonderful opportunities for employee development.\nPosition Summary:\nThis position will be responsible for maintaining records for daily reports, performance maintenance on pumps and other equipment with minimal or no supervision.\nResponsibilities :\nCleaning out SWD filter baskets on the pumps and offload locations\nProvide excellent customer service while interacting with truck drivers.\nChecking loads to ensure fluid is acceptable for disposal.\nProactively monitoring water levels at site to ensure tanks are within their operating parameters.\nDaily inspection of equipment and facility operating functions\nPerform necessary preventive and corrective maintenance.\nMonitoring and account for skim oil volumes removed from facility.\nTracking pump pressures\nCoordinate with trucking companies on delivery of saltwater.\nMonitoring drivers for proper procedures and the use of personal protection equipment\nMaintaining a clean and safe environment at all times\nEnsure compliance with HSE policies and saltwater disposal requirements.\nReporting safety and environmental issues to management\nCompetencies:\nComputer knowledge - Proficient utilizing MS Windows environment\nStrong initiative and self-starter\nAbility to keep neat and accurate records.\nMulti-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization.\nExcellent Interpersonal Communications skills in a team environment\nGeneral mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills\nAbility to identify operational inefficiencies.\nUnderstanding of Business fundamentals\nAbility to implement cost effective solutions.\nTechnical Skills related to math and analytical thinking.\nUnderstanding of Importance of environmental and Safe Work Practices\nRequirements:\n1-3 years of Salt-Water Disposal Operator experience or Maintenance Roustabout/Pusher experience specific to Centrifugal, triplex and H Pumps etc.\nMust be knowledgeable with O&G Production Operations\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nStrong working knowledge of PD pumps, Quinniplex pumps, H pumps, & Centrifugal pumps and working oil\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nBasic computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Excel) and simple mathematical calculations\nValid driver's license and clean record\nMust be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including: background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty\nWhy work for Danos?\nDanos offers competitive wages, sustainable health benefits, 401K company match, and opportunities for employee development.\nSounds like your ideal employer?\nApply today!
