This role supervises front desk and billing staff, manages revenue cycle activities, and ensures efficient workflows that support providers and delivers an excellent patient experience. The Practice Manager works to optimize operational performance, improve reimbursement processes, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.\n\nEssential Duties and Functions:\n\nSupervise and support front desk and billing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.\nOversee daily office operations, ensuring efficient patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/check-out processes.\nOversee revenue cycle operations, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, claims processing, denial management, accounts receivable, and reimbursement.\nMonitor insurance reimbursements and accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate payments.\nAddress and resolve billing issues, claim denials, and patient account concerns.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain clinic policies, procedures, and workflows that support operational excellence.\nEnsure compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, HIPAA, Medicaid, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory standards.\nPrepare operational, financial, and productivity reports and communicate performance results to Executive leadership.\nServe as the primary liaison between clinic staff, providers, billing, finance, information technology, and external partners.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance clinic operations, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare\n\nManagement, or a related field required, master’s degree preferred.\n\nMinimum of five (5) years of healthcare practice management experience, preferably in behavioral\n\nhealth, community mental health, or outpatient medical practice.\n\nMinimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.\nExperience managing medical billing and revenue cycle operations.\nExperience with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance reimbursement.\nExperience implementing operational improvement initiatives preferred.\n\nKnowledge and Skills:\n\nStrong understanding of behavioral health clinic operations.\nKnowledge of Community Mental Health (CMH) service delivery and Medicaid funding.\nKnowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and behavioral health billing practices.\nKnowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and payer compliance.\nStrong financial and operational analytical skills.\nAbility to interpret and present performance metrics.\nStrong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.\nExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.\nProficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), practice management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nBenefits:\n\nPremium health and vision within 30 days of hire\nCompany sponsored Health Reimbursement Account\nCompany paid short and long term disability\nEmployee assistance program\n401(K) match up to 5% after one year of service\nSocial security alternative contributions\nFree YMCA membership\nGenerous paid time off\n14 paid holidays\nLicensure study materials and exam reimbursement\n\nTrauma Informed System of Care:\n\nA trauma-informed approach to service delivery emphasizes physical and emotional safety, choice, empowerment, and trustworthiness for customers.
