This role leads the financial close process, maintains compliance with U.S. GAAP, and partners closely with the CFO on financial strategy, forecasting, and business initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role within a lean environment requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including preparation and review of trial balances, journal entries, and supporting schedules.\r\nEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow with proper cutoff, accruals, and revenue/expense recognition.\r\nMaintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts, ensuring proper classification and review of significant transactions.\r\nOversee account reconciliations and financial analysis, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are supported, and discrepancies are resolved.\r\nAnalyze financial results against budget and prior periods, providing clear insights and recommendations to leadership.\r\nEstablish and enforce accounting policies and internal controls in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company standards.\r\nLead audit and external reporting activities, serving as the primary contact for auditors and tax advisors and ensuring timely and accurate filings.\r\nSupport cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting, including working capital oversight and variance analysis.\r\nPartner with the CFO on strategic initiatives, including growth planning, financing activities and system implementations.\r\nMaintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism while operating as a hands-on finance leader.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.\r\nCPA and/or CMA strongly preferred.\r\n10+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.\r\nPrior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.\r\nStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.\r\nExperience with ERP systems required; NetSuite experience preferred.\r\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.\r\nRemote / Hybrid Work\r\nThis position follows a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to work onsite approximately two days per week. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to support in-office collaboration and business needs.\r\nTravel Requirements\r\nLimited travel may be required for audit support, training, or business initiatives.\r\nSchedule & Compensation\r\nFull-time salaried position.
