SpEd Essential Elements","description":"Aide – SPED Essential Elements Please Provide:\r\nResume\r\nPosition Overview The Aide – SPED Essential Elements supports the instructional program for students with severe disabilities by assisting with classroom instruction, implementing individualized education plans, supporting student health and daily living needs, and monitoring student behavior and progress under the supervision of the classroom teacher.\r\nKey Responsibilities Adapt classroom activities, assignments, and materials under the direction of the supervising teacher to reinforce instructional objectives.\r\nAssist students with severe disabilities in completing instructional tasks and daily living activities.\r\nProvide health-related assistance and personal care for students as directed by healthcare professionals.\r\nMonitor students during classroom and school activities to maintain safety and support behavioral goals.\r\nParticipate in the implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and instructional plans.\r\nMaintain instructional materials and records required for program documentation.\r\nObserve and document student progress and communicate information to instructional staff.\r\nAttend meetings and training sessions related to special education services and student support.\r\nParticipate in IEP meetings as appropriate to support implementation of student goals.\r\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\r\nSkills Adhering to safety practices and procedures\r\nOperating classroom technology and office equipment\r\nPreparing and maintaining accurate records\r\nKnowledge Instructional practices for students with severe disabilities\r\nChild development and behavioral support strategies\r\nHealth and safety procedures\r\nAbilities Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families\r\nMaintain confidentiality of student information\r\nWork collaboratively with teachers and support personnel\r\nAdapt to changing student needs and instructional priorities\r\nManage multiple tasks and interruptions\r\nResponsibility Works under direct supervision using standardized procedures to support instruction and provide assistance to students with significant disabilities.\r\nWork Environment Work is performed primarily in classroom environments and may require physical assistance for students, including lifting, mobility support, and personal care tasks.\r\nExperience Job-related experience is required.\r\nEducation High school diploma or equivalent.\r\nRequired Testing None
