About the Role: The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Production Supervisor (Pro Super) (WS-8801-13) to work at the 412 AMXS/ 461 AMU (MXAD) at Edwards Air Force Base. The purpose of this position is to provide on-equipment maintenance for General Test & Test Aircraft. To provide on-equipment maintenance supervisor for either the day or swing shift for one of the AMU production elements, which can include several aircraft maintenance flights. To manage, supervise, and technically direct personnel performing aircraft & ordinance system inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, modification, and overhaul of various assigned aircraft and ordinance systems and associated components, including organizational intermediate, and depot level maintenance and Type 2 modifications. May also be required to act as the flights Weapons Manager. THIS JOB CAN CLOSE AT ANY TIME! Location: Edwards, CA Installation: Edwards Air Force Base Typical 2024 salary range: $117,748 – $137,387 (includes locality) Telework Information: Position not eligible for telework Travel Requirements: Up to 25% travel possible Direct Hire Authority: NO 6-MONTH WAIT! Generation 5 aircraft experience desired 2 years of supervisory experience desired Major Duties: Manage aircraft maintenance with mixed skill personnel. Plans on a weekly or monthly basis the flying/maintenance schedules. workers, equipment, facilities, and materials in an organizational group. Performs work direction responsibilities Participates in employee and labor management matters with senior HR professionals Manages the Civilian Recognition program Appraises subordinate workers' performance Qualifications/Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Obtain & maintain Security clearance This is a designated Drug Testing Position Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of conventional aircraft maintenance and repair trades, including advanced avionics; and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity/ Equal Employment Treatment.
