This role will support both client-facing development projects and internal technology initiatives, working across a variety of platforms, systems and technologies.\r\nAs an international digital marketing and translations agency, we work across diverse services and industries, so the ideal candidate is someone who is adaptable, curious, and excited to work across a range of projects.\r\nThe role\r\nContract: Permanent, full-time\r\nSalary: £35,000 - £39,000 (depending on experience)\r\nBuild, maintain and enhance client websites and digital platforms.\r\nWork on WordPress and Shopify development projects.\r\nCollaborate with SEO, Creative and Account Management teams to deliver technical solutions for clients.\r\nSupport website migrations and technical implementation projects.\r\nApply technical SEO best practices where required.\r\nCollaborate with and support SEO, Creative and Market Growth teams in scoping out new project feasibility and development requirements, contributing to pitches and presenting to prospective clients, where required.\r\nSupport internal development initiatives and business systems.\r\nContribute to AI and automation projects that improve internal workflows and efficiency.\r\nAssist with integrations between systems, APIs and third-party platforms.\r\nHelp develop and maintain internal tools and applications.\r\nTraining and development opportunities to support future projects built using Ruby on Rails and other technologies.\r\nContinuously learn new platforms, frameworks and development practices.\r\nContribute ideas and recommendations for improving technical processes and workflows.\r\nAbout you\r\n1–2 years of commercial software development experience (or equivalent demonstrable experience).\r\nGood understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.\r\nExperience working with modern CMS or ecommerce platforms, ideally WordPress and Shopify.\r\nExperience working with APIs and third-party integrations.\r\nFamiliarity with Git and version control workflows.\r\nStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.\r\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\r\nComfortable working across both frontend and backend development tasks.\r\nWillingness to learn new technologies and work across multiple stacks.\r\nWhat we offer\r\n33 days annual leave\r\nBirthday off work\r\nWork abroad policy (up to 30 days per year)\r\nCompetitive pension scheme (matched up to 7%)\r\nIndustry-leading family policies\r\nHybrid, flexible working\r\nLife assurance and private Bupa healthcare\r\nRegular team socials\r\nFree weekly breakfasts\r\nWe appreciate that employing people with a broad range of life experiences and ways of thinking adds value to our organisation.
