OVERVIEW:Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Health care systems, medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Clinical Pharmacist.IMPORTANT NOTES:This will be an onsite role.Location: 4971 Southridge, Suite 115, Memphis, TN 38141Duration: 6 months assignment with possible extensionShift Hours: Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM as needed || Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM as neededMust be available to work at least 2 days or more based on business needsMust-Have Requirements:Active Tennessee Pharmacist License requiredBachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institutionStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong customer service skillsAbility to work evening schedules and Saturdays as neededRESPONSIBILITIES:The candidate will work in a highly automated pharmacy environment alongside pharmacists, technicians, and operations staff to meet production goals.This role is responsible for managing workflow in the central fill pharmacy to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.Review and dispense medication orders accurately and timelyReplenish hoppers and oversee pharmacy automation systemsSupervise technicians, clerks, and support personnelPerform quality checks during production as requestedDocument and report medication errors to supervisors and PICEnsure compliance with all State and Federal lawsOversee return-to-stock processesProvide guidance and support in filling medication ordersProvide professional product information to operations teams when neededMonitor storage and distribution of pharmaceuticalsPerform end-of-day assignments and follow building closing protocolsEncourage teamwork and assist team members as neededFollow company and pharmacy policies and proceduresMaintain high attention to detailQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institutionLicensed as a registered pharmacist with an unrestricted Tennessee licenseEligible for pharmacy licensure in other statesAbility to communicate effectively with customers and personnelAbility to sit and stand intermittently for long periodsAbility to bend, reach, type, and push or pull cartsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environmentStrong operational oversight and workflow management skillsAbility to perform production quality checks accuratelyTeam-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skillsLicensed in additional states preferredPrior pharmacy experience preferredPrior experience in a high-volume pharmacy preferredI'd love to talk to you if you think this position is right up your alley, and assure a prompt communication, whichever direction.
