In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the construction/remediation projects and ensure they progress on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in heavy equipment operations, environmental regulations, safety, budgeting, remediation methods, and environmental treatment systems with a proven track record of successful project completions.ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of the project - Budget, Schedule, Compliance, QA/QC, etc.Negotiate contracts with external vendors and suppliersSecure necessary permits and licensesEnsure all professionals on site comply with safety regulationsSchedule key deliverables and milestones and ensure progress is being madeEstimate costs and keep the project within budgetCoordinate subcontractors and outside contractorsSupervise and direct laborers and equipment operatorsReport on progressIdentify and mitigate any potential issues that may ariseFoster teamwork and collaborative relationships with clients, engineers, supervisors, operators, laborers, and subcontractors.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, environmental science or a related field is preferredPrevious experience as a Remediation/Construction Manager or SupervisorProject management certification is preferredDeep understanding of OSHA, RCRA, remediaton and construction management methods and processesAdvanced knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codesStrong leadership and crisis resolution skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicaitons (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project)Experience with Trimble Base Stations and Rover applicationsAbility to break large projects into small stepsTraining Requirements Current Certifications Required:40 Hour HAZWHOPER With Current 8 Hour RefresherEM-385 Safety Training30 Hour OSHA Construction TrainingDOT Hazardous Materials Training Preferred, but Not Required:USACE QC TrainingSite Safety Officer TrainingFirst Aid/CPR/AED Training
