A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.\nAbout the role\nThe Reliability Engineer will be responsible for achieving reliable equipment and manufacturing systems to prevent failures, maximize operational performance and throughput, optimize cost, and extend asset lifecycles.\nKey responsibilities\nPreventative Maintenance (PM) programs.\nSpare Parts Inventory Management systems.\nKAMS (Kerry Asset Maintenance System) process and tools.\nComputer Maintenance Management Systems (SAP-PM).\nBest maintenance practices and standards.\nSupport Plant shutdown preparation and planning.\nSupport manufacturing site team in implementing and executing their Maintenance Excellence Program.\nMaintenance Fundamentals.\nReliability Centered Maintenance.\nOperational Excellence.\nLead and collaborate with site team to define Asset Criticality and Reliability Maintenance strategies.\nLeverage maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to optimize cost, identify gaps and identify opportunities to improve asset performance.\nLead and support analysis of equipment and systems failures, using problem solving, continuous improvement tools (i.e. RCA, Fishbone, DMAIC and FMECA), and physical testing (destructive/non-destructive).\nSupport project teams during equipment selection and defining Preventative/Predictive Maintenance strategies for new assets.\nCollaborating with Procurement, participate in the development and evaluation MRO suppliers and 3rd party maintenance service providers.\nSupport other functions with Maintenance and Reliability related inquires and expertise.\nMaintain and deploy a broad knowledge of industry trends and new technology innovation in Maintenance and Reliability to enhance Kerry manufacturing and operational capabilities.\nQualifications and skills\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent technical degree.\n3+ years of progressive experience in engineering, reliability, maintenance, or related field.\nPractical experience in Continuous Improvement methodology and tools.\nManufacturing background in Food & Beverage or Chemical industries\nProfessional certification as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.\nComfortable working on the factory floor.\nCompensation Data\nThe typical hiring range for this role is $62,000 to $92,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).\nKerry is an equal opportunity employer.
