cloud modernization and data transformation program.The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, governing, and improving cloud-based data architectures, data models, platforms, and integration patterns across the full data lifecycle.This role requires deep hands-on experience with AWS data architecture, enterprise data modeling, cloud data platforms, data lakes/lakehouses/warehouses, ETL/ELT integration, data migration, governance, and high-availability data environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign scalable and secure cloud-based data platforms supporting operational applications, reporting, analytics, and AI/ML.Architect data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse solutions.Design logical, physical, dimensional, relational, NoSQL, GraphDB, and analytical data models.Establish enterprise data-modeling standards, naming conventions, patterns, and governance controls.Architect multi-tenant cloud environments supporting SQL, NoSQL, distributed SQL, streaming, IaaS, and PaaS technologies.Define secure operational data models supporting application features and service integrations.Establish integration patterns for ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, downstream BI platforms, and data products.Work closely with data engineers to implement model-driven ETL/ELT solutions.Develop and maintain metadata, lineage, data classification, and architectural documentation.Design cloud data solutions using AWS data services and modern cloud architecture patterns.Support enterprise platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift, or comparable technologies.Develop data migration and archival strategies including profiling, mapping, testing, validation, rollback, retention, and access controls.Design high-availability and disaster-recovery strategies.Support batch and real-time data integration.Evaluate data architecture technologies and provide recommendations to technical and customer stakeholders.Partner with Data Governance, Security, Application Development, BI, and Data Engineering teams.Mentor data engineers and data modelers.QualificationsMA/MS with 12+ years of general information-systems experience and 10+ years of specialized experience, or equivalent experience as defined by the program.Deep experience designing enterprise data architecture using AWS data services.Extensive experience architecting enterprise data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, and AI/ML.Strong expertise in enterprise data modeling.Experience with relational, NoSQL, GraphDB, dimensional, and analytical modeling.Experience with data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, and CDC-enabled ingestion.Experience designing ETL/ELT and data integration patterns.Strong experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS Redshift.Experience modernizing legacy data platforms and leading cloud migrations.Knowledge of MDM, data governance, metadata management, lineage, and change data capture.Experience with batch and real-time data architectures.Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.Strong technical leadership and stakeholder communication skills.Preferred
