They will be able to clearly define and clearly articulate compelling solutions and will require an ability to quickly assimilate and apply complex technical information.\n\nKitty Hawk Technologies is currently seeking a Systems Engineer with five (5) or more years of experience with Cameo System Modeler in support of Engineering Services to work in the Dahlgren, Virginia area\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nWorks as part of a team to support Navy modeling efforts\n\nDevelops mission architectures in collaboration with government customers to represent System of System and System interactions\n\nDevelops system representations using authoritative sources of truth (ASOT) and defines traceability within the model(s) to source data\n\nCollaborates with other Navy MBSE projects to support alignment initiatives through common ontology or project usages\n\nMaintains configuration management of models using Teamwork Cloud or other project defined CM Process\n\nAdheres to existing project SysML, UAF, and project specific style guidance\n\nParticipates in recurring Technical Exchange Meetings to align model development with project milestones and requirements\n\nParticipates in MBSE Community of Practice (CoP) to support project alignment to Navy initiatives\n\nPrepares technical presentations, briefings, and papers to address model development status\n\nWorks independently with minimal supervision/oversight in a team environment\n\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\n\nFive (5) or more years of experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using SysML and Cameo System Modeler\n\nBachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or related technical discipline\n\nActive Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or active TS/SCI is required\n\nExperience with industry- standard architecture and modeling languages (SysML) and frameworks (DoDAF, UAF)\n\nEffective oral and written communication skills. Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\n\nMust be a quick learner who adapts easily to frequently changing requirements and thrives in an exciting environment\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nExperience with Teamwork Cloud\n\nExperience with US Navy, Joint, and/or DoD engineering efforts\n\nExperience of integrating technologies into operational- level architectures\n\nExperience working alongside operational forces\n\nExercise independent judgment and work autonomously with minimal supervision\n\nStrong written and oral communication skills, the ability and willingness to multi-task, and capable of professionally addressing client questions and issues\n\nWork Posture\n\nMust be committed to working on-site at the Kitty Hawk office or government customer facility.
