This individual will join a team working on a modernization effort. This individual will be a full stack developer but focus on back end development.Other responsibilities include:Design and code programs using object oriented design for new and existing systems (UIs, reports, batch jobs, business logic, data access modules, and justice partner interfaces) to meet user needs and specifications Work with various programming languages (like Microsoft .NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, etc) in an integrated development environment. Prepare problem definitions, workflow procedures, and test plans necessary for effective support and maintenance of assigned systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:Candidate must have at least 8 years of .NET web development experience (new development and upgrades)Experience as a Back-end Developer with expertise in .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework. Extensive experience working with message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) for asynchronous communication. Extensive experience with event-driven programming and implementing event handlers. Background with batch processing techniques and scheduling batch jobs. Extensive experience with monitoring tools to track message queue health, event handler performance, and system metricsExtensive experience with: API protocols such as SOAP and REST, Stored Procedures, and batch processing/queues.
