The individual will be responsible for managing purchase orders, overseeing procurement and purchasing processes, and coordinating logistics operations. Additional responsibilities include negotiating contracts, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring the accuracy of order fulfillment, and providing exceptional customer service. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure seamless operations within the supply chain.Key Responsibilities:Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, price, reliability, and delivery performanceNegotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts with vendorsIssue purchase orders and manage order confirmations, lead times, and delivery schedulesMonitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking in line with production or sales demandsTrack shipments and resolve any delivery issues or delaysMaintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databasesCollaborate with operations, accounting, and warehouse teams to align procurement with organizational needsEnsure compliance and accuracy between Purchase orders and Confirmations.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar procurement roleStrong negotiation, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to analyze market trends and supplier performanceDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines[Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field]
