The goal is to produce high-quality parts and materials by programming machines that perform the correct operations.\nResponsibilities Include\nProgram and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as routers, grinding, milling, etc.\nUnderstand the specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc. Accurately read and interpret prints, 3D models, and general work instructions.\nTranslate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.\nPrepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines\nPrepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.\nProgram machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts\nSupervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result\nProvide feedback to maximize programs for better run times, material yields, and scrap rates\nInspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been appropriately completed, ensuring quality and accuracy\nCheck and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. Maintain quality control documents and update setup information\nWork as a team with other employees to help the branch reach its goals\nRequirements\nCNC fabrication experience is a must, as well as experience with precision measurement tools\nMust be computer savvy and programming experience with Mastercam preferred\nAbility to read & interpret prints/drawings & 3D models.\nCommunicate positively & effectively with coworkers.\nMathematical skills: Add, subtract, multiply, divide.
