About the job Crane & Hoist Technician About the role: >Assist in the performance of complex maintenance, service, repair, and troubleshooting of cranes, hoists, and related lifting equipmentPerform preventative maintenance on crane and hoist systems >Apply working knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance >Support crane and hoist erection and dismantle activities alongside rigging teams >Ensure quality standards during erection and dismantle activitiesAdjust, repair, or replace bearings, brakes, cables, guide rails, counterweights, cable sheaves, and buffers >Adjust safety controls, counterweights, and mechanical systems as required >Maintain accountability for safety within the installation and service team >Maintain proper cleaning, organization, and placement of tools and work areas Education, Skills, Knowledge & Experience > High school diploma or equivalent >Knowledge of crane and hoist mechanical theory and lifting techniques > Proficient in the use of hand tools and mechanical equipment >Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team > Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset Working Conditions >Work performed outdoors and in inclement weather >Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 200 feet on cranes and hoists >Ability to climb ladders, stairs, tower sections, and crane structures >Overtime, on-call and weekend work required >Extensive travel, primarily throughout the southeastern United States >Must be able to travel on short notice >Heavy travel, field-based role supporting multiple job sites across Florida's east coast >Overnight travel required Crane Hoist Technician, Crane Service Technician, Hoist Technician, Crane Maintenance Technician, Overhead Crane Technician, Crane & Hoist Service Tech Package Details Health, vision, dental, 401k and more.
