Medical Technologist Lead - Full-Time - Evening

Seeking a Chemistry Lead Technician to support the Technical Specialist in laboratory operations and perform duties in their absence.Performs Medical Technologist duties and assists with implementing procedures, policies, and compliance efforts.Coordinates proficiency testing, ensures regulatory adherence, and monitors quality control programs.Assists with staff competency assessments, daily bench assignments, and system validations.Maintains inspection readiness, promotes teamwork, and fosters positive morale.Replaces the Technical Specialist when needed and ensures all compliance responsibilities are met.Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Clinical Laboratory Science with 3-5 years of chemistry experience, preferably ASCP eligible.Physical effort is medium to heavy, with exposure to various laboratory environments.The position offers an hourly rate ranging from $36.53 to $67.90 at a non-exempt status.
