Job Title Be the First to ApplyJob Description Department: Hotel - Guest ServicesLocation: Black Bear Casino Resort – On SiteReports To: Valet and Bell CaptainFLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)Classification: Non-Child Related CBDriver's License: Level- 3 Class D License requiredRate of Pay: $13.82-$15.55 plus tips, with average tips being $8.53Responsibilities Assists guests in entering and exiting their vehicles.Gives Valet claim ticket to guests and checks for vehicle keys, inspects for vehicle damages and logs pertinent information on the vehicle damage inspection sheet.Opens doors for guests.Provides guests with information on services and promotions and answers guest inquiries.Maintains security of keys in an orderly manner.Maintains traffic flow in the canopy area by directing and/or driving guest vehicles to the valet lot in a safe and timely manner.Parks customers' vehicles in designated parking areas and returns vehicles at customer's request in a safe and timely manner.Monitors the general area and cleans and picks up as necessary to ensure the area is neat and orderly.Provides excellent guest services in all situations.Provides excellent service while caring for the guest vehicles and their personal effects.Drives passenger van to transport guests to and from the property as assigned.Performs Bell Staff duties.Report all tips to the Valet Attendants tip boxes in accordance with valet procedure.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of responsible areas/office.Reports to work on time in accordance with the Resort Policy.Provides adequate notice to supervisor prior to absence or lateness in accordance with Resort Policy.Department uniform is required and provided to the employee, which must be worn during scheduled work hours unless prior arrangements have been made with management.Must attend mandatory department trainings.Must attend all required Title 31 and SAR trainings.Ensures confidentiality of all financial records and all records for employees and/or clients.Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.Maintains a clean and organized work area.Due to changes and modifications in your job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.Qualifications Level – 3 Driver's License Required.Valid Driver's License issued in the US is required.Eligibility determined by FDL's insurance company.The incumbent must immediately report any changes in the status of their driver's license to the Manager.Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission is required.Operations consist of shift work; seven days a week; and on holidays.Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.Attention to detail and accuracy is required.Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation's Personnel Policies.Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks.Travel is required.Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.Walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and pulling are required.Manual dexterity is required.Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including work in a smoking environment.About Us The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Nagaajiwanaang (Where the water stops), is one of the six Bands of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe and a proud sovereign Ojibwe nation.
