This team builds Linux platform software for innovative AI-RAN and Software-Defined RAN (SD-RAN) solutions. It develops production-ready software combining NVIDIA technologies with popular commercial Linux systems such as Canonical Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). In the TPM role, you will advise the planning, coordination, and delivery of platform software programs, aligning efforts across software, hardware, customers, and ecosystem partners. This position calls for close collaboration, requiring a strong technical foundation, program management skills, and the capacity to engage effectively with both internal teams and external technology partners\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nWork together with Product Management, Engineering, Customers, and external vendors to gather, document, and rank product and platform software requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain coordinated project schedules, achievements, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.\n\nCoordinate activities across Platform Software, Hardware, Silicon, Firmware, Product Management, Quality Engineering, Customer Engineering, and external collaborators.\n\nDrive software release readiness, ensuring achievements are met for internal development, customer evaluations, and production releases.\n\nManage dependencies with external collaborators, including Canonical, Red Hat, silicon vendors, and ecosystem partners.\n\nFacilitate technical discussions, engineering reviews, build reviews, and program status meetings.\n\nDefine and monitor key program metrics, deliverables, and executive dashboards.\n\nSupport customer engagements by coordinating software deliverables, schedules, and issue resolution.\n\nWhat we need to see:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).\n\n12+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or Software Development.\n\nExperience managing complex software programs involving Linux-based platforms.\n\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and software release processes!\n\nExperience in gathering and handling technical requirements involving several engineering teams and outside partners.\n\nExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.\n\nExperience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar.\n\nWays to stand out from the crowd:\n\nExperience in working with Linux-based software, embedded systems, or enterprise Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and/or RHEL.\n\nFamiliarity with kernel, BSP, software integration, and release engineering.\n\nExperience in networking, telecommunications, cloud platforms, or Software-Defined RAN technologies.\n\nExperience collaborating with hardware and software co-development teams.\n\nPMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent program management certification is a plus!\n\nWidely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
