Our Software Engineer Interns will use their strong work ethic to assist on a variety of projects in order to gain exposure to all functions of our Engineering team. This role will include responsibilities of both software development and quality assurance.Applies design standards and procedures to implement basic designsLearns how to use and apply engineering tools as needed for this roleThoroughly documents work in an organized mannerCommunicates status of work clearly providing visibility to supervisor or mentorResponsible for planning own technical workWorks collaboratively and professionally in a team environment with developers and test developers to achieve goalsMust be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Have completed at least two years of an undergraduate curriculum. A minimum GPA of at least 3.0. Ability to work 40 hours a week during the summer. Entry-level programming skills. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript and React preferred. Familiar with IDE such as Visual Studio Code or Eclipse. Familiar with source code management tools such as Git. Be comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Housing: Interns must be able to provide their own housing for the duration of the internship.
