The DSS is responsible for the following duties necessary to successfully support the residents served by LifeSTEPS.\nCore Duties Director of Social Services\nEmpower low-income individuals and families to flourish by providing education and resources.\nEnsure our residents, specifically older adults to have an opportunity to thrive in place through housing and services.\nEncourage individuals and families through stable housing and supportive evidence-based services to build resilient communities.\nMaximize the strengths of individuals by providing client assistance, case management, service coordination, and conducting community outreach.\nEducation and/or Experience and/or License Certification:\nBachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.\nTwo (2) years of experience in a similar environment providing social services.\nAn equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the degree.\nValid California Driving License and reliable, insured transportation required.\nAre you ready to make a difference, stand behind and support individuals and families so they achieve their goals and become empowered to move forward in their lives?
