We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.\n\nOur Performance Center in Carson, CA is the Engineered Products Group site for our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, and Radio Frequency (RF) product lines.\n\nJob Summary\n\nCreate and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models of mechanical components using SolidWorks.\n\nPrepare detailed manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, notes, and specifications.\n\nUpdate existing drawings and CAD models based on engineering changes.\n\nCreate parts, assemblies, and basic layouts in SolidWorks.\n\nApply basic GD&T and drafting standards as directed by engineering.\n\nReview drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.\n\nWork with engineers to incorporate design changes and revisions.\n\nSupport the preparation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs).\n\nOrganize and maintain CAD files, drawings, and engineering documentation.\n\nWork with manufacturing personnel to clarify drawing and design requirements.\n\nAssist with prototype and production documentation.\n\nFollow company drafting procedures, quality requirements, and revision-control processes.\n\nMaintain weekly progress reporting (Project Management and project timesheet)\n\nSupport facility and corporate strategic goals\n\nAdhere to General Requirements of Team Members\n\nPerform other assignments as required\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\n\nAbility to interpret engineering specifications and technical drawings.\n\nBasic to intermediate knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software.\n\nAbility to work from sketches, measurements, specifications, and engineering instructions.\n\nGood communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nAbilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members\n\nGood attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nExperience designing or drafting mechanical parts and assemblies preferred\n\nFamiliarity with GD&T preferred\n\nExperience with machining, sheet metal, fabrication, or other manufacturing processes preferred\n\nFamiliarity with PLM/PDM systems is a plus.\n\nRequired Experience and Education\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\n3-5 years of experience in CAD, drafting, mechanical design, or related work preferred.\n\nBase Compensation: USD 30.00 - 40.00 Paid Hourly\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled\n\n23301 S.
