employment matters for crew members, including hiring, discipline, separation, leaves of absence (FMLA/ADA), new-hire procedures, and Form I-9 compliance.\r\nConducts interviews of potential candidates and participates in training to administer oral drug testing and reasonable-suspicion procedures.\r\nTrains and coaches employees, evaluates performance, and provides feedback; conducts safety training, stand-downs, and tailgate trainings as necessary.\r\nManages daily production tasks and maintains accurate records and reports of crew operations, providing supervisors, managers, and utility representatives with completion orders, unit counts, crew time, and incident reports.\r\nInvestigates accident reports and damage claims, and may act as a designated representative to settle minor damage or injury claims.\r\nControls crew costs through effective use of manpower, work methods, trimming quantity, and equipment operation.\r\nStays informed of new equipment specifications, standard practices, and operating procedures.\r\nMaintains contact with customers, property owners, the public, other contractors, and utility and governmental agencies, representing Wright Tree Service professionally and courteously.\r\nComplies with all written Wright Tree Service manuals and materials, including the Foreperson's Manual and Employee Handbook.\r\nWorks safely around hazardous equipment, energized power lines, excessive noise, and varying weather conditions while wearing proper personal protective equipment.\r\nMay work on rough terrain and perform other related duties as required or assigned.\r\nMinimum Qualifications Minimum of 4–5 years' experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews, or successful completion of applicable performance reviews.\r\nExcellent leadership skills with the ability to handle stressful situations and multi-task.\r\nBasic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits and arboricultural techniques for trimming, pruning, repairing, maintaining and removing trees near energized conductors.\r\nUnderstanding of ANSI standards for tree care operations (ANSIZ133.1-2000) and proper pruning (ANSIA300).\r\nKnowledge of OSHA rules and guidelines.\r\nProficient with Microsoft Office products.\r\nBasic knowledge of electrical circuits and ability to read and understand circuit maps.\r\nProfessional communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers, the public, and colleagues.\r\nEnforcement of on-job safety practices and willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\r\nPhysical ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently, lift and maneuver up to 50pounds infrequently and 30pounds frequently, work in all weather conditions, and endure exposure to noise, dust, insects, and other environmental hazards.\r\nAvailability for long hours, overtime, emergency (including holidays, weekends, storm work), and call-out work, and ability to travel up to 20% of the time.\r\nAbility to operate and service all required tools and equipment.\r\nValid driver's license (CDL), medical card, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and
