The environment consists of databases hosted both in on-premise datacenters and in cloud environments.\nThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating, maintaining, patching and troubleshooting issues related to Microsoft SQL Server databases, knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies, works well in a small team setting, has a desire to automate processes where possible, and a willingness to think outside the box to find solutions.\nDaily Tasks:\nWindows Security Update Patching.\nSecurity team task mitigation.\nDaily Windows Log, SQL Server Log, and SQL Server Service Reviews.\nDatabase Backup, Backup Verification, and Restore.\nSQL Server Process Documentation.\nTroubleshooting Reported Service Support Issues.\nRequired skills:\nIntermediate to senior level of understanding of MS SQL Server and the following MS SQL Server features and/or tasks.\nSQL Server AlwaysOn.\nSQL Server Database Backup and Restore.\nSQL Server Failover Cluster.\nSQL Server full text index management.\nSQL Server Agent Job Creation and Management.\nIntermediate to senior level of understanding of MS Windows Server and the following Windows Server features and/or tasks.\nWindows Failover Cluster.\nWindows Cluster.\nWindows Event Log Filtering.\nWindows Task Scheduler Setup and Management.\nDesired skills:\nPowershell\nCommvault backup solutions\nSharepoint\nRequired Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.
