If you are ready to support a high-performing team that truly makes a difference, then come join us!\nJob Description:\nThe Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.\nThe Level 2 Software Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:\nA reliable engineer capable of implementing containerized application workflows and infrastructure automation using modern DevOps and cloud-native tooling.\nContribute to the development of deployment pipelines and Helm charts.\nCollaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to integrate services.\nWork with Kubernetes tooling (Helm, GitOps, etc.) to support scalable deployments.\nFollow team standards and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.\nImplement and test logic to handle common app deployment patterns, secrets, and config maps.\nSupport internal efforts to standardize and document reusable application deployment templates.\nComfortable coding in Go, Python, or TypeScript.\nFamiliar with GitOps workflows and CI/CD tools like ArgoCD or Fleet.\nExperience with Kubernetes manifests, Helm, Docker.\nUnderstands basic concepts of infrastructure-as-code and Linux system operations.\nCan debug and troubleshoot in a containerized environment.\nQualifications:\nFourteen (14) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.\nFour (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\nEager to learn from senior teammates.\nOpen to working across the full stack and infrastructure boundaries.\nValues automation, documentation, and code reusability.\nPosition requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph\nPay Range: 180,000-220,000\nThe RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
