The Senior Project Manager has extensive knowledge and experience within the drywall/steel stud framing industry.\nThe Senior Project Manager will be empowered to manage the existing business in their designated market to ensure long-lasting relationships. The Senior Project Manager will lead and act as a mentor to their Project Team to empower employees to succeed in their role.\nEssential Functions\nPreconstruction/Estimating/Sales\nMaintain and enhance Contractor relationships to build new Berg business and be involved in new market development. Manage and grow key client relationships in their designated market.\nDeep estimating knowledge in the drywall/steel stud and metal framing space and maintains bid activity that supports overall Sr. PM portfolio expectation.\nFull review of the contract with the Project Manager before submitting it to the Senior Leadership Team for sign-off.\nAttend pre-construction meetings to understand complete scope while ensuring safety, quality and productions set up to be met.\nReview scope of work and identify any potential risks or scope gaps from estimate to award.\nLeveraging and reviewing sub-tier contractors.\nMaintains strong knowledge of projects and exceeds set standards for their portfolio.\nProduction/Execution\nMonitoring the execution of the project(s) to ensure procedures are followed per company SOPs.\nCoordinate with internal teams to ensure all pertinent information is provided; proactive communication with field leaders on bid productions and other preconstruction-related info and maintains consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.\nGive advice and direction as needed to their Project Team.\nProjection of manpower needs to leverage resources, utilizing the information for additional/future projects.\nInvolved in the debriefing of a project.\nFinancial Management\nInvolved in strategic planning to ensure project profitability- communication with the CFO & Executive Team to discuss financial implications, needs, and manage the cash flow to be positioned for success.\nFinancial management of the project portfolio.\nReview WIP and billing.\nFinancial closeout of the project(s).\nStrategic Vision\nParticipates in the development and execution of Berg’s strategic and business plan including achievement of key objectives.\nEstablish and develops relationships with employees, including the company management team, as well as external partners and stakeholders.\nSupport and continuous improvement of Berg’s high-performance culture.\nProvide visionary leadership for new ideas and approaches and humbly welcomes ideas to innovate and better Berg from all levels of the organization.\nLeadership\nDevelop trust and maintain a collaborative and supportive leadership presence with your Project Management team.\nParticipate in and support recruitment, hiring, onboarding efforts as appropriate to develop an exceptional regional team.\nFoster a collaborative culture that enhances employee satisfaction, engagement, and results-orientation while encouraging innovation and creativity.\nProvide time for regular and effective 1 on 1 meetings with all direct reports.\nCoach, mentor, and collaborate with direct reports regularly.\nEstablishes and achieves specific, measurable, and obtainable objectives that support Berg's overall growth and profitability objectives while creating client, employee, and company success.\nExperience and Qualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nExperience as a Project Manager for a minimum of 5 years.\nStrong commercial steel stud construction project management background.\nAbility to read and comprehend complex construction documents i.e., blueprints.
