Our engagements span the civilian and defense sectors and include developing some of the most impactful automations that have been deployed in the Federal Government. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:\nLead the design and development of end-to-end API ecosystems across legacy applications, data sources, and customer groups.\nDefine API architecture patterns (REST, GraphQL, event-driven, microservices).\nTranslate federal system constraints into actionable, scalable technical designs.\nLead the technical delivery of APIs for legacy command code replacement.\nDirect the development and technical documentation of agency microservices.\nGuide developers on design decisions.\nDevelop APIs for AI/ML-enabled workflows.\nEstablish and manage QA/QC mechanisms and customer feedback loops.\nQualifications:\nTechnical Skills:\nBachelors, Masters, or PHD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Note: Experience in lieu of an advanced degree is acceptable.\nCertification in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.\n15+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture principles, design, security, and/or cost optimization.\nObject-oriented programming (Python, Java, JavaScript, C##).\nFull-stack development (MongoDB, Express, React, Node, Spring Framework, Power Platform).\nCloud platform integration (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).\nOAuth2, OpenID, PKI, Zero Trust.\nLegacy integration (COBOL, mainframes, Assembly).\nAPI gateways architecture.\nFederal Compliance literacy (ATO, NIST).\nTranslating ambiguity into technical direction.\nCreating alignment and consensus among distributed stakeholders.\nBonus Experience:\nIRS, Treasury, DHS, or DoD system integration experience.\nPrior leadership roles in ATO processes or enterprise architecture initiatives.\nProven accomplishments in customer service, client success, or relationship management roles.\nAs a HUBZone certified company, we encourage applicants who live in a HUBZone, as designated by the Small Business Administration (SBA), to apply for this position.
