How Will You Make an Impact?As a Planner II at our Memphis, TN facility, you will plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demand while ensuring efficient manufacturing operations and on‑time delivery. You will leverage advanced planning systems, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration to optimize production flow and support continuous improvement in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.Location:On‑site at our Memphis, TN facility.What Will You Do?Develop and maintain production plans and schedules using RapidResponse (Kinaxis) and SAP to align with demand forecasts and capacity constraints. Manage demand fluctuations by analyzing impacts to production and implementing mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize production flow and resolve issues. Create and manage production orders, ensuring accuracy and timely release to the manufacturing floor. Monitor production performance against plan; identify deviations and drive corrective actions. Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis, reporting, and development of planning tools. Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders regarding schedules, risks, and recovery plans. Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and manufacturing processes. Adhere to all company policies, including safety, quality, and security procedures. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Management & Supervisory ResponsibilitiesTypically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Planning Supervisor, Planning Manager. Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees. How Will You Get Here?Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or a similar role. Experience in manufacturing strongly preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and demand management principles. Experience working within manufacturing and supply chain environments. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Hands-on experience with RapidResponse (Kinaxis) required. Proficiency in SAP Production module required. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and execution.
