HR Generalist

Position Title: HR GeneralistLocation: Wayne, PAAssignment Type: Contract-to-HireCompensation: $35-$40/hrWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMOn-Site or Hybrid: Fully On-SiteBenefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).An Addison Group client is looking for an HR Generalist!Job Responsibilities:Run daily HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, and leave administrationRecruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions in collaboration with department managersConduct background checks and employment eligibility verificationsImplement new hire orientation and employee recognition programsAdminister HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training, and complianceReview, track, and document compliance with required training, certifications, and continuing educationHandle employee relations matters, including disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminationsRespond to HR-related inquiries from employees, applicants, and supervisorsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practicesMaintain awareness of HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologiesSupport performance evaluations and may oversee daily workflow of HR staff Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)1+ year of human resources management experience (preferred)Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skillsHigh level of organization, attention to detail, and time managementAbility to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalismProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferredSHRM-CP certification a plus Why choose Addison Group?Pay: We negotiate high salaries using the U.S. Bureau of Labor StatisticsBenefits & Bonuses: You are eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance benefits, and 401(k)Permanent Employment: Many of Addison's job openings lead to potential permanent employmentConnections: You connect directly with hiring managersOptions: You are presented multiple employment options near your homeProfessional Development: You are provided hiring process advice, resume revision, and employment term negotiation
