These include site planning, stormwater management calculations, preliminary and final construction documents, stormwater pollution prevention plans, completion of permit documents, and other relevant reports. You'll work under the guidance and supervision of the project manager to ensure smooth execution of all activities.Typically Reports To: Project ManagerTypical Years of Experience: 3+Key Responsibilities:Manage site planning, stormwater management calculations, utility design, preliminary and final construction documents, stormwater pollution prevention plans, completion of permit documents, and other reports with the direction and guidance of the project managerManage project communication with clients and build trust and relationships with clients through consistent delivery of quality products and serviceUtilizes time management and organizational skills to excel at project tasksPrioritize projects tasks for multiple ongoing projectsAttend client/municipal meetings with the project manager to review project issues and pursue project approval, including technical meetings and public hearings with the direction and guidance of the project managerAttend project meetings with the direction and guidance of the project managerCoordinates with project subconsultants to obtain the necessary information for project designContinuously meets all deadlines or informs the project manager well in advance if a deadline cannot be met due to extenuating circumstancesAssist the project team in preparing the project schedule and include all necessary tasks to define the critical pathDevelops a team first mentality and devotes discretionary effort as needed to help the team succeed whenever necessaryQualifications:BS in Engineering from an accredited university3+ years of experienceEIT credentials (passing of the FE exam) preferred, but not requiredProficient with CAD Civil 3D softwarePossess a firm understanding of engineering design for all aspects of site development such as site grading design, utility design, and storm management designFocused, motivated, and results orientedEmbraces teamwork approach and possesses strong communication skillsMust demonstrate a firm understanding of project flow and necessary project tasksPossesses the ability to guide and mentor junior staffWhy You'll Love Working HereProfessional GrowthTuition reimbursement & on-demand trainingClear career paths & promotion opportunitiesMentorship from peers and leadersCulture & CommunityBook club, happy hours & social eventsInclusive, collaborative environmentAnnual all-team meeting & donation match programRewarding CompensationCompensation: $80,000-$95,000The salary range provided is a general guideline.
