You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.\nWhat you’ll do\n\nInventory Management: Accurately pull materials and plates for job packets, conduct inventory reporting to leads, and support inventory control efforts to ensure smooth operations.\nMaterial Handling: Load and unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes, handling loads up to 30,000 lbs safely and efficiently.\nEquipment Operation & Safety: Perform daily forklift and crane inspections, complete safety check-offs, and maintain compliance with all safety protocols.\nTravel Requirements: Minimal to no travel required; role is fully onsite.\nSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.\nWhat you’ll bring\nMust-haves:\n\nWarehouse experience with 1-3 years in material handling and forklift operation\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and material management\nBasic technical proficiency, comfortable with ERP systems or similar technology\nCommitment to safety and following established protocols\nNice-to-haves:\n\nPrior forklift certification and experience with overhead cranes\nExperience working in a job shop or manufacturing environment\nFamiliarity with inventory control systems and reporting\nAbility to work collaboratively in a small, supportive team setting\nWhy join Weir?\nWe live our values we think safety first, do the right thing, respect each other, aim high, and delight our customers.
