NNSA is a semi-autonomous entity under the Department of Energy (DOE) that supports the Department of War's nuclear weapon enterprise.\nPrimary Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas\nAlternate Locations: Albuquerque, NM; Oak Ridge, TN; Amarillo, TX\nTravel: Up to 20%\nSecurity Clearance required: Current DOE L or DoD Secret.\nSecurity Clearance preferred: Current DOE Q or DoD Top Secret.\nResponsibilities:\nSpecialized Instructors shall demonstrate and possess the proper experience, qualifications, and certifications for all designated DOE courses. Instructors may be assigned both primary and secondary training duties to support training requirements as needed. For example, an instructor may be assigned primary duties as a firearms/marksmanship instructor and a secondary duty as a tactics instructor. Instructors will also be subject to strenuous training activities that require a high degree of physical fitness that allows the individual to work in a broad range of training environments and conditions. This mastery must be result of both classroom training and field practical experience.\nRequirements:\nSpecialized Instructor must have five years minimum experience in their respective areas and will have demonstrated knowledge of the concepts, principles, techniques, and practices of the disciplines in their respective areas.
