Raw materials can include chemical goods, electronic components and machine parts.\nSupports and maintains strategic relationships with vendors and suppliers, including the scoring of vendor performance to provide feedback on their performance.\nSupports procurement process, including the establishment of purchasing agreements, alternate vendor certifications, identifying and minimizing single source points, optimizing cost for alternative sourcing and ensuring raw materials and goods go to correct departments\nPerforms physical inventory and supports strategic planning efforts related to warehousing versus customer demand to aid the company's efforts to maintain customer service through freight consolidation.\nEnsures Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Conformance go to Chemists and Quality Control team.\nKeeps log and updates Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals purchased\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
