This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues, supporting mobile and desktop devices, and ensuring reliable technology operations for field and facility staff.\n\nThis position performs a balanced mix of ticket resolution, preventative maintenance, and project participation, including equipment refreshes, infrastructure upgrades, and facility expansions. Work is performed onsite at Cantex locations, requiring daily travel between facilities. This is not a remote position.\n\nThe role includes two weeks of onboarding in Dallas at HQ before transitioning to independent field work.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum 1 year of IT field support, desktop support, or help desk experience\nAbility to travel daily between facilities (100% travel role)\nHands‑on experience with Windows 11, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365\nExperience supporting mobile devices, Android tablets, laptops, desktops, and printers\nProficiency with remote support tools and ticketing systems (ManageEngine preferred)\nStrong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments\nAbility to work independently while representing the IT department professionally onsite\nAbility to participate in an after‑hours/on‑call rotation for outages or urgent issues\nStrong communication skills with the ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions\nAbility to comply with all Cantex health and safety protocols\n\nEssential Functions\n\nTravel to assigned Cantex offices and facilities to resolve issues that cannot be addressed remotely\nProvide technical support for smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices\nDiagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues\nSupport Windows‑based systems, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365\nPerform workstation setup, configuration, deployment, and application installation\nRespond to user inquiries and identify root causes through targeted questioning\nTrack issues through full resolution in the ticketing system (ManageEngine)\nDocument all service activities accurately and completely\nEscalate issues appropriately when additional expertise is required\nProvide timely, professional communication to users regarding status and resolution\nComplete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks\nCreate and maintain knowledge base articles\nAssist with IT projects such as equipment refreshes, infrastructure upgrades, and facility expansions\nAttend Elysian and TheraCare regional meetings to assess needs and provide follow‑up plans\nMaintain positive, professional relationships with facility staff and corporate personnel\nAdhere to all Cantex policies, procedures, and safety standards\nParticipate in after‑hours/on‑call rotation as required\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nAbility to travel between facilities using personal or company‑provided transportation\nAbility to lift or move equipment up to 50 pounds\nAbility to stand, walk, sit, reach, handle, or feel objects as needed\nAbility to use computers, phones, and mobile devices for extended periods\nOccasional exposure to typical facility environmental factors (noise, cleaning chemicals, airborne particles)\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions\n\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
